Leo (masculine)

by Adrian Shirk

In all honesty,

I rather liked him

expanding, shedding light.

Responding full of

countenance and sympathy,

while reeling in ruling

passion: his 45-foot trimaran

swaying. Then, glaring

straight ahead of him,

sublimely and out

of touch, he extended

his deck like a pack

of cigarettes not his. Open

all night, or by

appointment; Welcome Aboard.

Listening to the heels

of the shoes, the sleeve

of the sister’s jacket.
